Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention relates to a method for producing a salt of an amino acid, a salt of a peptide compound, or a solvate of either one of the salts, the method comprising the following steps (A) and (B). Step (A): a step for bringing a material to be purified which is a mixture of a component (i) that is a purification target substance and a component (ii) that is an impurity into contact with a lithium-containing substance, in which the component (i) is the amino acid having a protecting group at the N-terminal thereof or the peptide compound having a protecting group at the N-terminal thereof and the component (ii) is a compound other than the purification target substance. Step (B): a step for precipitating a lithium salt that is the purification target substance.
