Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for producing a thermoplastic resin film having: a step for inspecting for deposits having a maximum height of 10 μm or higher and/or a maximum width of 100 μm or higher present on the resin flow path wall surfaces between the discharge port end portion of a die and a position 3 mm upstream from the discharge port end portion in the discharge direction of a molten resin discharged from the die before heating the die, and removing the deposits detected when deposits are detected; a step for heating the die from which deposits present on the resin flow path wall surfaces have been removed; and a step for discharging a thermoplastic resin as a molten resin from the heated die in the form of a sheet.
