Abstract:
A method for producing water gas from empty fruit bunches of palm trees, comprising: using empty fruit bunch waste from which palm oil is squeezed as raw materials, converting the empty fruit bunch waste into palm biochar by means of a physicochemical reaction of drying and dehydration at 250-420°C, and then placing a carbon matrix in a water gas generator to convert into a water gas fuel. The preparation method is simple, the conversion rate of converting the palm biochar into the water gas is high, and the obtained water gas is low in pollution and high in heat energy. The present invention provides a new method for treating and recycling palm oil processing waste, and can be used as an effective substitute for non-renewable energy coal for producing the water gas.
