Abstract:
The present invention provides means that can very accurately measure the concentration of an analyte without requiring fractionation of biological components. The present invention relates to a method for measuring the concentration of an analyte in a biological sample, comprising: (1) preparing the biological sample; (2) mixing the biological sample with a chromogenic reagent, an oxidoreductase, and a scattered light modifier, to obtain an analysis sample that exhibits scattered light that is substantially the same as for the biological sample; and (3) measuring an analyte concentration using this analysis sample.
