Abstract:

A method of measuring cholesterol in high-density lipoproteins characterized by comprising reacting a specimen with cholesterol ester hydrolase and cholesterol oxidase, or cholesterol ester hydrolase, an oxidized coenzyme and cholesterol dehydrogenase in an aqueous medium containing a bile acid derivative and then measuring the thus formed hydrogen peroxide or reduced coenzyme; and a reagent to be used therein.
