Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a method for reducing the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), and a communication apparatus, which are applied to a transmitting system having a power amplifier. In the method, a reserved resource can be determined on the basis of a first unscheduled resource which is located in a transmission bandwidth and/or a second unscheduled resource which is located in a protection bandwidth, and the use of a fixed reserved resource in a conventional technique is not required, such that the flexibility of determining a reserved resource can be improved, thereby improving the flexibility of reducing the PAPR by means of tone reservation (TR).
