Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a method for searching for channels and a display device. When searching for channels, a channel search instruction is received, and in response to the channel search instruction, frequencies of channels to be searched are obtained, channel searching is performed, and a first type of broadcast channel is obtained; a frequency corresponding to the first type of broadcast channel is skipped, channel searching is performed on the basis of remaining frequencies, and a second type of broadcast channel is obtained. It can be seen that the present method and display device prevent repeated searching of some frequencies, time spent searching for a second type of broadcast channel is reduced, and the efficiency of channel searching is improved.
