Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for separating and purifying water-soluble silicon from diatom-derived silica and, more specifically, to a method for purifying water-soluble silicon by grinding diatom-derived silica powder by means of grinding, dry plasma treatment, sonication and air plasma treatment. According to the present invention, provided is an optimum method for separating and purifying water-soluble silicon from adhesive diatom-derived silica, which is obtained together with Jeju lava seawater, to provide mineral water comprising a silicon component beneficial to the human body.
