Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a composition that increases the stability of a luciferin solution. The present invention provides: a method for stabilizing a luciferin solution, said method characterized in that a boronic acid derivative or a salt thereof is made to coexist in the luciferin solution; and a method for suppressing an attenuation or a decrease in the intensity of bioluminescence, said method characterized in that, when carrying out a bioluminescence reaction of luciferase using luciferin as a substrate, a pyrophosphate and a boronic acid derivative or a salt thereof are made to coexist.
