Title:
METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING ALUMINUM NITRIDE AND ALUMINUM NITRIDE-BASED COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/111334
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for synthesizing aluminum nitride at a low temperature and, more specifically, to a method for synthesizing aluminum nitride, comprising: preparing a porous body by heating and debinding, under a nitrogen gas atmosphere at atmospheric pressure, feedstock granules or a molded product prepared therefrom, the feedstock granules being prepared by pressure mixing a mixture powder, which comprises 0.5-8 wt% of a zinc powder, 0.01-2 wt% of a magnesium powder, 0.01-1 wt% of a silicon powder, 0.01-1 wt% of a copper powder and the balance of an aluminum powder, with an organic binder; and causing a rapid nitridation reaction of an aluminum powder. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for synthesizing a composite phase material having a high aluminum nitride content by further adding, to the aluminum mixture powder, one or more inorganic materials selected from the group consisting of lithium, calcium, phosphorus, gadolinium, iron, nickel, cobalt, manganese, silver, chromium, zirconium, strontium, molybdenum, tungsten and an alloy thereof, or Al2O3, SiO2, ZrO2, CaO, Y2O3, TiC, TiN, B4C, SiC, Si3N4, TiB2, h-BN, c-BN, diamond, a carbon nanotube and graphene, and sintering the same under the nitrogen gas atmosphere.
