Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and a system for chat function development, a terminal and a computer readable storage medium. The method includes: determining, during a process of developing a game using a Cocos framework and/or a Unity development tool, a type of an operating system to which the game is to be applied, the type including Android and iOS; and selecting a chat function development policy based on the type of the operating system. The chat function development policy declares a C++ function in a development language file of the operating system. With the solutions according to the present disclosure, native chat functions in the Android operating system and the iOS operating system can be used as chat functions in games. In this way, the problem of cross language development between C++, C#, Java and Objective-C can be solved, such that the difficulty in cross language development can be reduced and advantages of various developing languages can be integrated with each other. Also, the applicability and convenience of the chat function in the game can be improved, and the user experience in using the chat function during the game can be enhanced.
