A method and system for scheduling access network hairpin transaction, the method comprises, the hairpin transaction configuring module configuring many terminals that request the hairpin transaction to a hairpin group; the first media descriptor handling module on the receiving side building the TDM resource media descriptor based on the TDM resource scheduling request sent by the sending side and sending it to the second media descriptor handling module on the sending side; the second media descriptor handling module receiving the TDM resource media descriptor and parsing it, sending the parsed TDM resource scheduling request to the TDM resource uniform managing module; the TDM resource uniform managing module searching the TDM resource distribution table after receiving the TDM resource scheduling request, finding the relative information to the TDM resource and scheduling the hairpin transaction based on the relative information.
