Abstract:
A method for localization is disclosed. The method includes obtaining a current frame; extracting multiple feature points from the current frame, wherein each of the multiple feature points comprises a key point and a descriptor of the key point; and matching each of the multiple feature points with a map data to obtain a matching result, wherein the map data comprises multiple landmark data, each of the multiple landmark data comprises a 3D position of a landmark and at least one feature information of the landmark in a historical frame, and each of the at least one feature information of the landmark comprises a descriptor and a camera position of the landmark in the corresponding historical frame.
