Abstract:
A micro-separator for gas chromatography comprises: a base substrate having a trench defining a microcolumn; and a three-dimensional porous ceramic-polymer composite which is disposed in the microcolumn and has periodically arranged three-dimensionally connected pores. The three-dimensional porous ceramic-polymer composite comprises: a ceramic nanostructure forming a three-dimensionally arranged nano-shell array; and a reaction activation layer which is bonded to the surface of the ceramic nanostructure and includes a polymer reaction activation material. The three-dimensional porous ceramic-polymer composite has a thickness of 10 μm to 20 μm and a column length of 30 cm to 70 cm, and the ceramic nanostructure has a shell thickness of 20 nm to 60 nm. The micro-separator may have improved separation performance and durability.
