Abstract:
A solid-state imaging element (1) is provided with a semiconductor substrate (2) having multiple photoelectric conversion elements (3), a color filter layer (5) disposed above the semiconductor substrate (2), and having multiple types of color filters (5a to 5d) disposed to correspond to the photoelectric conversion elements (3), and a microlens array comprising multiple microlenses (11, 14) disposed to correspond to the color filters (5a to 5d). The microlens array has a PDAF pixel microlens (14) disposed in a PDFA pixel (1Aa) of a pixel array part (1A), and an imaging pixel microlens (11) disposed in an imaging pixel (1Ab) of the pixel array part (1A). The PDAF pixel microlens (14) is provided with a lens part (13) and a pedestal part (12) adjacent to the lens part (13), and is higher than the imaging pixel microlens (11).
