Abstract:
A mitre saw (100) includes a working table (2), a first support (4) engaged with the working table (2), a second support (5) engaged with the first support (4), a saw mechanism (3) pivotably engaged to the second support (5) through a pivot (6), and an engagement mechanism (7) arranged between the first support (4) and the second support (5). The engagement mechanism (7) actuates the second support (5) to move with respect to the first support (4), such that a cutting process is being performed at plurality of predetermined working positions. Accordingly, the cutting ability of the mitre saw is improved, such that the mitre saw can cut workpieces with a variety of standard.
