This mobile communication method comprises: a step (Step S1001) in which a mobile station (UE) transmits a compressed "REGISTRER" to a P-CSCF (SIP server); a step (Step S1002) in which the P-CSCF transmits an error signal (for example, SIP signal "401"), which contains configuration information indicating whether compression processing is necessary or not, to the UE in response to the compressed "REGISTRER"; a step (Step S1003) in which, when no need for compression processing is indicated by the configuration information, the UE transmits all SIP signals, including the registration signal "REGISTRER", uncompressed to the P-CSCF; and a step (Step S1004) in which registration of the UE with the IMS is initiated in response to the uncompressed "REGISTRER."
