Abstract:
The invention relates to a machine-tool for machining wheels or a pair of wheels (3) mounted on a vehicle or the chassis of a railway vehicle. The inventive machine-tool comprises a frame (2) which has a rectangular shape in a plane view and whose four corners (10) are based on a roller (11) which is guided along a workshop track (12,13). Said machine-tool (1) is provided with devices (32 to 36) which make it possible to laterally displace the rectangular frame (2) with respect to the workshop track (12). Said devices (32 to 36) also enable said rectangular frame (2) to be horizontally tilted (40, 41) with respect to the workshop track (12, 13).
