Title:
MOBILE STATION, BASE STATION AND METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/134946
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A mobile station has a means that multiplexes collision-tolerant and collision-intolerant channels, and a means that transmits the multiplexed collision-tolerant and collision-intolerant channels to a base station. The collision-tolerant and collision-intolerant channels are distinguished by whether they are scheduled at the base station before the transmission thereof. The collision-tolerant channel includes at least one of a high-rate access channel, a reservation channel and a synchronization channel, while the collision-intolerant channel includes at least one of an upstream shared data channel and an upstream shared control channel. The high-rate access channel includes one or both of traffic data and control data having a data size that is smaller than a predetermined size. The reservation channel includes information that requests a scheduling of the collision-intolerant channel. The upstream shared data channel one or both of the traffic data and control data.
