Abstract:
A mobile terminal which can be switched from a first state into a second state by expanding in a first direction comprises: a first frame; a second frame which can slide from the first frame to the first direction or a second direction opposite to the first direction; a slide frame which can move in the first direction or the second direction about the second frame; a roller coupled to one side of the second frame so as to rotate about a third direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction, as a rotation axis; a flexible display unit comprising a first region coupled to the first frame, a second region coupled to the slide frame, and a third region positioned between the first region and second region and bending and surrounding the roller; and a rolling plate having the flexible display unit coupled to one surface thereof, wherein the roller comprises a high friction material. Since the size of a screen can be adjusted as necessary, the mobile terminal provides both excellent portability and usability.
