Abstract:
The present application provides a modified quaternary precursor, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing a nickel source, a cobalt source, a manganese source and an aluminum source with a solvent to obtain a quaternary solution, adding the quaternary solution, an alkali solution and ammonia water to a base solution in a parallel flow manner and carrying out a one-step reaction to obtain a half-step precursor solution; and (2) adding a cerium source solution and an alkali solution to the half-step precursor solution prepared in step (1) in a parallel flow manner, and carrying out a two-step reaction to obtain the modified quaternary precursor. In the present application, coating the surface of the quaternary precursor with cerium hydroxide during the stage of synthesizing the precursor can improve the conductivity of the material while the material can be stabilized, and during the process of sintering and preparing a positive electrode material, cerium hydroxide can generate CeO2 in situ, and the sintering frequency is reduced.
