Abstract:
Provided are a modified tamarind gum printing paste and a preparation method therefor. The modified tamarind gum printing paste of the present application comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of a tamarind gum, 0.1-0.5 part of a depolymerizing agent, 5-50 parts of an etherifying agent, 3-10 parts of a catalyst, and 60-150 parts of water. The modified tamarind gum printing paste of the present application uses water as a solvent in the raw materials, which greatly reduces the production cost and environmental pressure; and the amount of the etherifying agent used is low which reduces the requirements of reaction conditions at the same time. The method for preparing the modified tamarind gum printing paste of the present application has a simple process and a convenient operation, and the modified tamarind gum printing paste prepared thereby has a low molar substitution degree of a hydroxyethyl group and a high viscosity, is beneficial for textile printing and dyeing, has a high color yield percentage of the finished product after the printing process, and can be widely used in the dyeing process of disperse dyes.
