Abstract:

A mold (1) for vulcanizing/forming a tire enabling the securement of high dividing accuracy at low production cost and the easy control of clearance dimensions between divided pieces, having an inner peripheral surface shape matching the surface of the tread part of a tire, and formed by combining the plurality of divided pieces (1A) divided in the circumferential direction of the tire. At least one of the plurality of divided pieces (1A) comprises roughly round-bar like pin protectors (100) installed to be projected from the divided surface (D) thereof from the adjacent divided piece (1A). The divided piece (1A) adjacent to the pin protectors comprises recessed grooves (102) of roughly arc shape in cross section fitted to the pin protectors (100) in the combination surface (D) thereof with the divided piece (1A) to be combined.
