Abstract:
In the present invention, in producing a molding material by a molding process including at least one squeezing process, and at least one drawing process performed after said squeezing process, the width of a punch 31 used for the squeezing process is made wider at a rear end side than the width at a leading end side, and by pushing a material metal plate 2 along with the punch 31 into a push-in hole 30a, an ironing process is performed on a region corresponding to a flange section of the material metal plate. At such time, a material metal plate comprising a metal having a body-centered cubic structure is used, and the flange diameter reduction rate obtained from the flange diameter after the drawing process and the diameter of the material metal plate is set to be 0.42 or less.
