Abstract:
An electronic device, which comprises a battery and a monitoring apparatus. The monitoring apparatus comprises a photoelectric conversion device and a recording module. When the battery is removed, the photoelectric conversion device converts light illumination into an electrical signal, the recording module generates a first digital signal according to the electrical signal, a processor reads the first digital signal, and the processor instructs a display screen to display prompt information, or enables an operation such as battery protection mode or shutdown. In the situation in which the battery is removed, the electronic device performs limiting or protecting processes to reduce the safety risk of the battery.
