Abstract:
A monitoring device according to the present embodiment comprises a video selection unit, an image selection unit, a generation unit, and an output unit. On the basis of the imaging conditions for a first video serving as the subject of monitoring, the video selection unit selects, from among a plurality of videos, a second video that corresponds to the imaging conditions. The image selection unit selects, from the second video, second images that correspond to first images constituting the first video, such selection performed using information indicating the positions of the first images. The generation unit generates comparison information related to a comparison of the first images and the corresponding second images. On the basis of the comparison information, the output unit outputs information related to first images in which there was a prescribed change in the first video.
