Abstract:
A monitoring device (100) comprises a detection unit (102) which processes a captured image of road surroundings and detects that the relative distances to persons and vehicles included in the image are in a state of being at or below a reference value, and an output unit (104) which uses attributes of a person detected as being in the aforementioned state to select a type of information to be output and outputs the selected type of information.
