Abstract:
A monitoring system 1 includes: a first monitoring device 11; a second monitoring device 12; and a third monitoring device 13 that monitors a monitoring target of the first monitoring device 11. The first monitoring device 11 includes: a first acquisition unit 21 that acquires state information representing the state of the monitoring target; and a first transmission unit 23 that transmits the state information to the second monitoring device 12. The second monitoring device 12 includes: a first reception unit 32 that receives information transmitted from the first monitoring device 11 and the third monitoring device 13, respectively; and a second transmission unit 34 that, when the state information is received by the first reception unit 32, transmits, to the third monitoring device 13, a request signal requesting detailed information representing the state of the monitoring target in greater detail than the state information. The third monitoring device 13 includes: a second acquisition unit 41 that acquires the detailed information; a second reception unit 44 that receives information from the second monitoring device 12; and a third transmission unit 43 that, when the request signal is received by the second reception unit 44, transmits, to the second monitoring device 12, the detailed information acquired by the second acquisition unit 41.
