Abstract:
Provided is a mortar gate that uses mortar (in particular, EPS mortar) and serves as a door body that opens and closes a floodgate in a floodgate installation. Said mortar gate (1) comprises mortar (2) formed into a slab and is lighter and more corrosion-resistant than conventional steel door bodies. The use of mortar also allows a large number of said door bodies to be manufactured inexpensively in a short amount of time. In situations in which it is difficult to transport door bodies to sites in which said door bodies are needed, such as in a disaster, this mortar gate could be easily manufactured on site by simply bringing in the required materials and casting the mortar. The use of EPS mortar in particular reduces weight even further.
