Abstract:
A motor control device is provided with which it is possible to detect early that a motor has entered an abnormal state. The motor control device comprises: a control unit that calculates a voltage command value on the basis of an input current command value, and controls the drive of the motor using the calculated voltage command value; a virtual motor unit that simulates the current value flowing in the motor on the basis of the voltage command value calculated by the control unit, and a plurality of parameters pertaining to the specifications of the motor; and a determination unit that determines whether the motor is in an abnormal state by comparing the current command value input that was input to the control unit with the current value simulated by the virtual motor unit.
