Abstract:
Provided is a motor drive apparatus in which: a brushless motor (11) has a three-phase motor structure; Hall sensors (12) detect signals representing a change in magnetic flux during the operation of the brushless motor (11); a control unit (13) obtains the rotor rotational speed of the brushless motor (11) on the basis of the signals representing the change in magnetic flux, calculates a specific electrical angle regardless of a change in the rotor rotational speed, and causes a gate driver (14) to output a PWM signal for switching the timing of supply of electricity to each phase of the brushless motor (11) at the specific electrical angle; and an inverter (15) supplies voltages to stator coils of the brushless motor (11) in the form of a sine wave on the basis of the PWM signal.
