Abstract:
A motor drive device (10) that supplies power to a motor (30) on the basis of a control command (C2) sent from a higher-order controller (20) at a network communication cycle comprises: a network frame reception unit (12) that receives a control command; a user program processing unit (13) that executes program processing of a user program created by a user; a servo control unit (14) that outputs a servo control command based on the control command; and a drive control unit (16) that supplies power based on the servo control command to the motor. In a case in which the user program processing unit is to execute program processing, the user program processing unit launches the user program in accordance with a launch signal (M2) generated each time the control command is received, and thereby causes the user program to perform program processing on the control command in synchronization with the timing at which the network frame reception unit receives the control command, and the servo control unit outputs a servo control command based on the control command that underwent program processing.
