Abstract:
The present invention improves operation stability when the driving of a stepping motor starts. A motor driving control device (10) comprises: a control unit (11) that generates a control signal (Sd) for controlling the driving of a two-phase stepping motor (20); and a driving unit (12) that drives coils of two phases in the two-phase stepping motor (20) on the basis of the control signal (Sd). The control unit (11) has, as control modes, a first commutation control mode in which the commutation of the coils is carried out according to a target current supply time that is based on a preset commutation condition and a second commutation control mode in which the commutation of the coils is carried out on the basis of the result of detecting the zero crossing point of a reverse voltage of the coils. When the activation of the two-phase stepping motor (20) is started, the control unit generates the control signal (Sd) in the first commutation control mode. When the result of detecting the zero crossing point meets a prescribed condition, the control unit generates the control signal (Sd) in the second commutation control mode.
