Abstract:
The motor protector according to an embodiment comprises a hermetic container, two conducting terminal pins, two fixed contact point support bodies, two fixed contact points, two movable contact points, and a thermal reaction plate. The fixed contact point support bodies integrally have conducting terminal pin side regions, fixed contact point side regions, and a connection region by performing bending work on a plate material, wherein: the fixed contact point side regions are disposed sandwiching a space region and are provided with the fixed contact points; and the connection region is provided over the space region and connects the conducting terminal pin side regions and the fixed contact point side regions to each other. The sum of the width dimensions of the connection region is set to be smaller than the sum of the width dimensions of the space region.
