Abstract:
This motor system comprises: an axial gap motor including a shaft extending along an axial line, a disc-shaped rotor that is provided in the shaft and centered on the axial line, a first magnet disposed on the surface of the rotor facing one side in the axial direction, a second magnet that is disposed on the surface of the rotor facing the other side in the axial direction and has characteristics different from those of the first magnet, a first stator that has a first coil facing the rotor from the one side in the axial direction, a second stator that has a second coil facing the rotor from the other side in the axial direction; and a power supply unit that can supply power selectively to the first coil and the second coil.
