Abstract:
The invention relates to a lighting module for a motor vehicle headlight for emitting light in order to form a light distribution in an area in front of the lighting module; the lighting module comprises two or more primary light sources (PLQ1, PLQ2) generating light in order to form a main light distribution (HLV) as well as at least one secondary light source (SLQ1) generating light in order to form an additional light distribution (ZLV) which is combined with the main light distribution such that a total light distribution is formed; at least one primary reflector (PR1, PR2) is associated with the primary light sources (PLQ1, PLQ2) and is designed to focus the light emitted by the primary light sources (PLQ1, PLQ2) and deflect said light into an area in front of the lighting module in the form of the main light distribution (HLV); an optical projection system (AS) is associated with the at least one secondary light source (SLQ1) and is designed to project the light emitted by the at least one secondary light source (SLQ1) into an area in front of the lighting module in the form of the additional light distribution (ZLV), the main light distribution (HLV) being designed as a short-range light distribution, the additional light distribution (ZLV) being designed as a long-range light distribution, and the total light distribution (LFL) being designed as a long-range light distribution.
