Abstract:
A moving robot according to one embodiment comprises: a communication unit communicating with at least one beacon; memory for storing indoor map information; a metal sensor for sensing a metal guide connected to a charging station; and a control unit which acquires location information about the moving robot by communicating with the beacon, acquires the distance between the moving robot and the charging station on the basis of the location information about the moving robot and the indoor map information, and operates the metal sensor in order to sense the metal guide on the basis of the distance being less than or equal to a first reference distance.
