Abstract:
A multi-carrier handoff method is disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention, which includes that: a target base station receives configuration information of one or more source member carriers from a source base station; the target base station obtains incremental configuration information of whole configuration information of the target member carriers relative to the source member carriers; the target base station sends the incremental configuration information to a User Equipment (UE) via the source base station, so that the UE performs a parameter configuration on each of the target member carriers according to the incremental configuration information and performs handoff from the source base station to the target base station. In the embodiment of the present invention, the target base station obtains the incremental configuration information of each of the target member carriers relative to the source member carriers, and sends the incremental configuration information to the UE via the source base station, thus enables the UE to perform the parameter configuration for each of the target member carriers according to the incremental configuration information, so as to realize the multi-carrier handoff.
