Abstract:
This multidirectional drive device (100) comprises: a driven member (1) having a spherical surface (3) comprising an uneven part (2); a rotary drive unit (4) which makes contact with the spherical surface (3) of the driven member (1) and rotates the driven member (1); and a support member (7) which is fixed to the driven member (1) and supports an operated body (M). The position and/or orientation of the operated body (M) can be adjusted by the rotation of the driven member (1).
