Title:
OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTING BULK MAGNET
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/057634
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an oxide superconducting bulk magnet with which it is possible to obtain a satisfactory total magnetic flux by making it possible to achieve high-magnetic-field magnetization by preventing damage to a superconducting bulk body due to electromagnetic stress and quenches. The present invention is an oxide superconducting bulk magnet that is provided with: an oxide superconducting bulk body in which RE2BaCuO5 is dispersed in monocrystalline RE1Ba2Cu3Oy; and an outer-circumferential reinforcing ring that is fitted to the outer circumference of the oxide superconducting bulk body. The outer-circumferential reinforcing ring is formed from a plurality of metal rings that have a multi-ring structure in the radial direction, in which at least one of the plurality of metal rings has a thermal conductivity of 20 W/(m・K) or greater at 20 to 70 K, and at least one of the plurality of metal rings has a strength that is greater than that of the metal ring having the thermal conductivity of 20 W/(m・K) or greater.
