Abstract:
The present invention provides: a multifunctional mulching material preventing soil erosion, maintaining soil moisture in a suitable state, enabling a temperature to be adjusted to a low temperature state, inhibiting weed growth, preventing soil pollution, being biologically and naturally degraded, blocking light transmission and, particularly, improving insect control and repellence against blight and modifying soil texture; and a preparation method therefor. The multifunctional mulching material comprises: 100 parts by weight of a natural material; and, on the basis of 100 parts by weight of the natural material, 30-40 parts by weight of an adhesive, 10-20 parts by weight of an insect repellent, 8-15 parts by weight of a protectant; 6-10 parts by weight of a soil conditioner, and 3-5 parts by weight of a shading agent, wherein at least one of 2-4 parts by weight of a catalyst, 2-4 parts by weight of a vegetable starch and 2-4 parts by weight of an antimicrobial agent can be selectively added thereto.
