Abstract:
The present invention provides a water catchment apparatus for a mirror comprising: a middle body part that forms a shelf space using a front wall and side walls enclosing a bottom shelf surface; a lower body part comprising a water catchment surface that forms a space for catching water to the rear of the shelf space and that is formed at a different height to the bottom surface of the shelf so as to be lower than the shelf space, a discharge cock that is connected to the water catchment surface so as to discharge water of the water catchment surface, and a discharge hose connected to the discharge cock; and an upper body part coupled to an external mounting wall, comprising a running water guide plate having a front surface that is formed continuously with a top surface on which a mirror is mounted and the surface of the mirror so as to guide the flow of the flowing water from the mirror to the water catchment surface, and a guide part that protrudes from the front surface and that is spaced apart in the width direction of the running water guide plate so as to support the bottom surface of the mirror. The present invention can thereby advantageously prevent the scalding of a user by hot water that is sprayed onto the mirror or wasting used hot water by directly draining used water.
