Abstract:
This multiplexer is configured so as to comprise: a signal selection unit (2) that outputs a selection signal indicating whether differential signals that have propagated respectively through M differential signal lines (1-1) to (1-M) are differential signals to be passed or differential signals to be blocked; and a passing/blocking unit (3) that connects, to an output differential line, differential signal lines (1) through which differential signals to be passed, as indicated by the selection signal output from the signal selection unit (2), propagate, among the M differential signal lines (1-1) to (1-M), the passing/blocking unit (3) generating a virtual ground between a first signal line and a second signal line which are included in differential signal lines (1) through which differential signals to be blocked, as indicated by the selection signal, propagate, among the M differential signal lines (1-1) to (1-M).
