Abstract:
N-Arylhydrazide compounds of the general formula [I] or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; and preventive and therapeutic drugs for dementia, containing the compounds or the salts. In said Formula (I), each symbol is as defined in the description. The compounds and the salts exhibit an inhibitory activity against the aggregation of $g(b) amyloid and are useful as preventive and therapeutic agents for dementia, particularly Alzheimer-type dementia.
