Abstract:
A natural ventilation window (1) having a paper panel door (2) and open/close
means (5) for causing the paper panel door (2) to open and close an opening (4) of
a building. The open/close means (5) has a support mechanism (32) for supporting
that portion (31) of the paper panel door (2) that is on the top rail (22) side, the
portion (31) being supported so as to be vertically movable and to be rotatable
in R1 direction about a horizontal axis S1; a support mechanism (34) for supporting
that portion (33) of the paper panel door (2) that is located below the portion
(31), the portion (33) being supported so as to be movable in A direction of the
inside and outside the building and to be rotatable in R2 direction about a horizontal
axis S2; and an engagement member (35) for engaging the paper panel door (2) with
a window frame (11) defining the opening (4), the paper panel door (2) being engaged
so as to maintain a fully closed condition of the opening (4).
