Abstract:

A nebulizer is provided with a body unit (1), an atomization unit (2), and, for example, an exhalation detection unit (3) which is a function unit for realizing an additional function of the nebulizer. The body unit (1) and the atomization unit (2) can be separated from each other. The atomization unit (2) includes a reservoir section for containing a medicinal liquid, and an atomizing section for spraying the medicinal liquid within the reservoir section by atomizing the medicinal liquid. The body unit (1) includes a control circuit for performing control for operating the atomizing section. The exhalation detection unit (3) can be mounted and removed between the body unit (1) and the atomization unit (2).
