Abstract:
The present invention ensures a movement stroke of a pusher toward the leading-end side thereof, while preventing the axial direction size of a needle assembly (outer-needle hub) from being large. This needle assembly 10 comprises: an inner needle 16 which has an inner-needle hub 18 provided to the base-end side thereof; a hollow outer needle 58 which has an outer-needle hub 60 provided to the base-end side thereof; a needle tip protector 22 which protects a needle tip 20 of the inner needle 16 that has been extracted from the outer needle 58; a valve body 80 which secludes the inner cavity of the outer-needle hub 60; a pusher 84 which pushes and expands a slit 86 in the valve body 80 as a result of movement of the inner needle 16 toward the needle tip 20 side so as to cancel the seclusion of the outer-needle hub 60 by the valve body 80; and a cylindrical pusher guide 82 which guides movement of the pusher 84 toward the needle tip 20 side. The pusher 84 is provided with a pusher piece 108 that extends along the lateral side of the needle tip protector 22 toward the base end. The pusher guide 82 is provided with an insertion part 96 in which the pusher piece 108 can be inserted.
