Abstract:
The present application provides a negative electrode plate and a preparation method therefor. The negative electrode plate in the present application comprises: a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode film layer located on the surface of the negative electrode current collector; the length direction and the width direction of the negative electrode film layer are consistent with those of the current collector; the section, perpendicular to the length direction, of the negative electrode film layer comprises a uniform thickness area located in the middle part in the width direction and edge areas located at two ends in the width direction; in any edge area, the thickness is continuously reduced in a direction from the uniform thickness area to the edge area, and the width a of any edge area and the average thickness d of the uniform thickness area meet the relational expression: a/d≤1.5, and d≤300 μm. Hence, the negative electrode plate without crimping and cracking and having good mechanical stability can be obtained; the phenomenon of insufficient local active material cannot occur when the negative electrode plate is used in the secondary battery, edge lithium precipitation cannot be generated, and therefore the high capacity of the negative electrode active material can be promoted to the maximum extent.
