Title:
NETWORK MANAGEMENT DEVICE, COMMUNICATION DEVICE, NETWORK MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/201699
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a network management device, a communication device, and a network management method that make it possible to improve a transmission capacity. A network management device (NMS) according to the present invention is provided with an insertion control unit (11) and a branch control unit (12). In an optical communication network (100) having a plurality of communication devices (NE) connected via a transmission path in which WDM signal light obtained by subjecting a plurality of optical signals to wavelength division multiplexing is transmitted, when a first communication device (NE) inserts an optical signal into WDM signal light, the insertion control unit (11) controls the first communication device (NE) so that a plurality of optical signals to be branched by a second communication device (NE) are inserted to be adjacent to a wavelength band sandwiched between guard bands, and when the second communication device (NE) branches an optical signal from the WDM signal light, the branch control unit (12) controls the second communication device (NE) so that the plurality of optical signals inserted to be adjacent to a wavelength band sandwiched between guard bands are branched.
