Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a network management state diagnosing method, a device, and a network-side device. A device receives a start instruction for starting a network management state diagnosing mode, and starts the network management state diagnosing mode according to the start instruction; after starting the network management state diagnosing mode, the device sends a diagnosis packet to a network management platform of the device, and monitors whether the network management platform replies a reply packet of the diagnosis packet; and if the device receives the reply packet within a preset period of time, providing a response indicating that the device is normal; or if the device receives no reply packet within a preset period of time, generating an alarm. Thus, it is unnecessary to diagnose devices one by one in an equipment room by using an external device, thereby improving maintenance efficiency, saving time, and reducing labor costs.
